THE VAIKOM SATHYAGRAHA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
It is a project of Swami Vivekananda Trust, vaikom.
The Hospital was inaugurated by Shri. H V. Slshadri saha Sarkaryavah of Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh on 14th July 2000 at 12 noon. The Akhil Bharatheeya Boudhik Shikhan Pramumukh,Shri. Ranga Hari and Shri P. Narayanan (Ex.M.L.A Vaikom) and Advocate P K. Harikumar (Municipal Chairman) and such eminent person were present. The Saghakarya kartharvue already present many eminent persons including same officials from the Indo American Hospital Chemmanakary were duty present in the occasion. We think that it is our humble contribution to the natives of vaikom and fulfillment of an alternate hospital in vaikom.
From Jan 2018 the hospital is shifted to the building in our own property
In future years we plan to construct a multi storied building in the new hospital site itself.
During the beginning period of the hospital there occurred great flood considering the request of T.S.R vaikom our doctors and staff visited the relief camps did do their meritorious service as they could do. We already offered even costly medicines to the victims on free cost. We contributed even firewood and constructed temporary tablets for them.
During the eve of Ashtami at vaikom as usual this year also we conducted free medical camps in the premises of the temple in collaboration with sevabharathi, vaikom.
